As a master’s student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Florida, graduating in May 2025, I am passionate about advancing medical technology through innovative research and development and quality, focusing on product development. With a strong foundation in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, I have hands-on experience in designing a printed circuit board for low battery level indication in digital blood pressure apparatus and conducting rigorous quality assurance and electrical safety tests on various medical equipment.During my co-op at Philips MR Patient Care, I contributed to the hardware research and development in sensor research, proof-of-concept design, and compliance testing, demonstrating my ability to deliver cost-effective and high-performance solutions.I am proficient in industry-standard tools and protocols such as ISO13485:2016, IEC 62353, and IEC 60601, with a proven track record of reducing risks, optimizing costs, and improving device performance. I am eager to bring my expertise to a full-time role in R&D engineering / Systems Engineering, contributing to innovative medical solutions that enhance patient care starting May 2025.
