Making products from 0 to 100 is fun and in that journey, I do:Product Development: Drive the ecommerce/CRM/SaaS driven marketplace product development roadmaps in partnership with the Research Team and management. Provide guidance to Team Heads in their coordination of the end-to-end process of new product development, including managing commercial negotiations with external product partners and coordinating across internal functional groups to obtain approvals for launch. Ensure effective global roll-out of new products. Deeply understand and prioritize backend needs across a variety of platforms and technologies. Strategic planning: Actively engage with regional business heads, investors and management to identify new product opportunities and product gaps. Contribute to product platform strategy in terms of positioning, profitability, pricing and segmentation.Team Management: Oversight and overall responsibility for all product management activities. Provide leadership, vision and strategic direction to team. Coach and motivate employees to exceed performance expectations. Build excellent and collaborative teams. Relationship Management: Maintain overall relationship with internal partners and represent firm at appropriate level of seniority in discussions with external business partners.Sales and After-Sales Support: Actively involved in sales and after sales support strategies to ensure that team effectively supports revenue growth and client satisfaction objectives. Develop and direct process improvement projects to improve ease of transacting on the platform. Risk and Control: Keep abreast of regulatory frameworks w.r.t data security, Terms and Security and Cookie policies to ensure platform is legally compliant and customer transparency is maintained.B2B and B2C Experience: Successful track-record in capturing the digitisation needs of internal stakeholders and aligning these with internal developers and technology vendors in B2B logistics environment. Understand B2C needs, research market trends and ideate innovative solutions.Marketing: Build strategies to increase product awareness, created numerous email, onsite engagement and in-app campaigns based on client segmentation and targetingAnalytics: Hands on tech guy (coding since black and white screen days and designing complex code/algorithms). Regularly involve in data preparation and analysis to generate meaningful insights. + R: And finally, day revolves around this key growth metrics i.e, Acquisition, Activation, Retention, Referral and Revenue and repeat!
