ABOUT RACHIT KARULKAR

As a Sourcing Specialist at EQI Ltd, I manage the sourcing and procurement of raw materials, components, and services from various suppliers, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery standards. I also coordinate with the inventory control team to optimize the inventory levels and reduce waste and excess stock. I have a Master of Engineering degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Windsor, where I learned how to apply engineering principles and techniques to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of industrial systems and processes. I have also acquired multiple certifications in product design, AutoCAD, and automobile development, which demonstrate my skills and knowledge in engineering design and software. I am passionate about finding innovative and sustainable solutions for industrial challenges, such as reducing environmental impact, enhancing customer satisfaction, and increasing profitability. I have experience in leading a small team for assembling blow moulding mechanisms and managing vendors for the machine parts, where I applied my team leadership, customer engagement, and problem-solving skills. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies, and to collaborate with other professionals and stakeholders in the industry.
