About Rachit Gupta
Prior Experiences- ASIC Intern at Infinera India, working with the ASIC team to develop leading solutions for optical networking- Project Leader for developing a swarm network of drones using Ad-hoc Wi-Fi network at BITS Goa. Initiated the hardware emulation and built 4 drones for the project and troubleshoot mutli-hop maneuver for network establishment- Project member for implementing a CNN on the Zynq FPGA at BITS Goa. Wrote Python and Verilog code for convoluting an image to input into a fully connected NN and troubleshoot simulation and emulation on Xilinx Vivado and Zybo boards- Research Intern at Electrono Solutions. Did a study on motors and batteries for light electric vehicles and implemented simulation models on MATLAB for the same- Treasurer and Coordinator for the Aerodynamics Club, BITS Goa. Have led projects and events to teach students about aviation and aerodynamics, conducted classes and taken interviews for selection to positions in the club. Worked with the government to execute a project to map mangroves using drones- Placement Associate at Placement Unit, BITS Goa. Provided a common platform for 800+ students to apply for jobs to 100+ companies and secure offers. Involved in hosting and execution of individual placement processes and training of students for different roles.
