Project: Construction of Ottawa Light Rail Transit – Stage 2 | Budget:$2.5BRole 1 : Construction Claims Analysis – Earthworks and Guideway• Gather and examine bid documents, project’s scope, and baseline schedules.• Identify changes, errors, and omissions in the IFB to IFC design transition process.• Conduct in-depth analysis of geotechnical reports to support earthworks and guideway potential claims.• Calculate and estimate errors-and-omission-due quantity growth.• Analyze and examine potential claims entitlement for the gaps identified.• Coordinate with project internal stakeholders: Operations, Estimators, Subcontractors, etc.• Prepare narratives, memorandums and presentations related to the claims.Role 2: Building Occupancy Permit Management - Stations and LMSF• Develop and implement occupancy permit processes and charts per client and BCS requirements.• Ensure designs and construction meet all applicable codes and standards for occupancy.• Coordinate with T&C team to ensure building systems are tested and functioning correctly.• Track and facilitate the resolution of construction deficiencies holding occupancy permits.• Assemble and deliver all required turnover packages as per designer and BCS requirements.• Develop the occupancy permit schedule, track progress and address potential delays.• Manage all interactions with operation team, subcontractors, and authorities for inspections and approvals.
