I lead the Global Product Development division at Bharat, where we are dedicated to discovering and developing life-saving vaccines and therapeutics. Through my role, I oversee R&D, product development, medical, safety, and regulatory support for the entire pipeline and work closely with external science and innovation partners to bring new treatments to market.In my previous position as Project Lead, I was instrumental in developing two COVID-19 vaccines, COVAXIN and iNCOVACC. Moreover, I have actively sought out new opportunities for collaboration and have engaged with important stakeholders like GAVI, WHO, and UNICEF to ensure that our vaccine portfolio is accessible to those who need it most.As a physician and scientist, my research has been published in journals like The Lancet and Nature, and I am passionate about leveraging my expertise in biologic product development, clinical research, and business strategy to create innovative, scalable, and equitable solutions for global health challenges.I am excited to continue leading the charge in the fight against disease and to make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of people around the world.
