About Rachel Sullivan
Physical therapy is more than my career, it is my passion. I am a dedicated, reliable and compassionate Doctor of Physical Therapy with 11+ years of clinical experience in outpatient settings (sports and occupational health) as a clinician, clinical instructor, and clinic director. I am currently licensed in both NC and SC and work PRN in the Charlotte region and surrounding areas. I have represented our profession on a district level, state level, and national level with my involvement with the American Physical Therapy Association and had incredible opportunities to advocate for our profession and protect our clinical practice. I am as resourceful as I am committed to exceptional patient care and task execution with a business growth mindset. As a Former Division I collegiate athlete, I am committed to a team-based approach to healthcare with the personal discipline, motivation, and the clinical experience to work autonomously. In addition to providing quality patient care, clinic organization, professional development and advocacy are three areas I am passionate about. I have always sought out knowledge from others and believe my preparation proceeds my success, but my flexibility allows me to capitalize opportunities. In December 2021, I stepped down from my clinic director role with Concentra to a PRN PT position with Concentra to facilitate a move from South Florida to North Carolina. Since then, I have continued working as a PRN PT for > 3 years which has provided me the opportunity work with several of Charlotte\'s strongest clinicians, both new grads and seasoned clinicians and enjoy the flexibility that PRN employment allows. When I’m not working or volunteering you can find me with my husband hiking the NC mountains, on a plane to explore a new city or in the kitchen baking sourdough bread!
