ABOUT RACHEL WAHLERT
Rachel has worked towards equity for several years. She has worked at the Anti-Racism Collaborative, Families First, and Higher Education Institutions. Rachel hopes to build bridges for first generation, BIPOC, queer, differently abled, and other marginalized groups. She has guided discussions on racial healing, multiracial identity collaboration, LGBTQ community building, and workplace mental health. She is grateful for the communities that have helped her grow as she works alongside them. Rachel is also a poet. She published a book, “Love.Fear.Community.” in 2021. She was selected to be a part of the Poetry of Science; she collaborated with scientists to make two poems that intersect art and science. She is also published in the Boston Globe.
