As Director of Industry Engagement at The Institute for Risk Management and Insurance Innovation (IRMII), I lead initiatives to bridge academia and industry in addressing some of the most pressing risk management challenges of our time. Our institute focuses on interdisciplinary research and training to deepen understanding and management of financial losses from a variety of perils, including extreme weather, pandemics, and cyber-attacks.I am dedicated to fostering collaborative partnerships between academia and industry to develop innovative tools and strategies that mitigate growing societal risks. Additionally, I work to ensure that IRMII equips the next generation of risk management professionals with the skills needed to thrive in an increasingly complex risk landscape through working closely with industry leaders to design student learning opportunities.Our mission at IRMII is to drive the advancement of creative risk management tools and strategies to address growing threats to society, and to cultivate a collaborative ecosystem of academics and industry leaders to train the next generation of risk management professionals.
