ABOUT RACHEL SHADWELL GIBNEY

An organization’s endurance and impact are directly proportional to the caliber, commitment, and unification of its workforce. From the C-suite to the production floor, I empower employees to be their best, find joy in their work, exceed their own expectations, and inspire people around them. I’ve coached leadership teams on driving growth as well as navigating the toughest of challenges – consolidations, restructures – with grace and respect. As a partner to C-Suite leaders and other senior executives, I’ve facilitated mergers and acquisitions (M&A), divestitures and spinoffs, international relocations and restacks, reduction in force, senior leader recruiting and staffing, and global deployment of centralized and decentralized HR models. Throughout my career, I’ve overseen recruiting and hiring, including carefully sourcing senior level executives, setting up recruiting and onboarding programs to ramp up staffing levels while introducing them to company culture and values. In terms of employee development and engagement, I’ve led the conceptualization, design, development, piloting, and worldwide rollout of countless Leadership Development, Learning & Development (L&D), Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Workforce Development, Management Training, and Succession Planning programs. My experience spans in-person, virtual, and online training. I pioneered a program that involved both self-paced learning through an LMS coupled with learning communities; it created bonds that lived well beyond the conclusion of the training. Learning is a competitive advantage. A strong and intentional learning strategy ensures people perform at their highest levels of competence and confidence. I come to work with the belief that HR is the most critical factor in the success of an organization. Whether I’m partnering with the C-suite, facilitating organic and inorganic growth campaigns, or creating the next class of senior executives through elite Leadership Development training, I create space for people to underscore and embrace their talents.
