I like to make things easy to understand, be that through live events or writing. I consider myself an audience advocate. I\'m here to point out where things get muddy, bust barriers, and make everything a lot easier for everyone. My communication philosophy revolves around narrative. People react to story. People react to stories even more strongly when THEY are the hero. I center the narrative around my audience and take on the role of Gandalf, guiding them on their quest. I teach an annual 2-day workshop for Georgetown university grad students on the persuasive power of narrative, memes, and games. l also produce public outreach events for tipsy millennial audiences. I\'ve worked with National Geographic, Smithsonian, Georgia Tech, and more! I serve as the UX lead for NFCU\'s conversational banking project, designing conversations for their AI virtual assistant. I also help out from time-to-time on other projects within NFCU\'s app and website and share fun-yet-horrifying animal facts with my coworkers to cheer them up. For example, did you know that there\'s a species of marine worm that has hundreds of butts? Now you do (and so does my coworker who was stressed about potty training his kid)!
