Currently at American Airlines I work on various product initiatives for the Shop & Buy team. I have expertise in navigating complex business dynamics in massive legacy technology systems. In my day to day, I am untangling immense problem spaces and advocating for user-centered design across the organization. I\'m so thankful to be a part of a mature design team as they\'ve nurtured me into the designer I am today; we follow a rigorous design checkpoints process that ensures alignment across cross-functional products and holistic, user-centered design that drives business success. 🤹 Previously I have been the sole designer at a Fortune 500. There I built my first UI Style Guide that brought cohesion across internal and external teams. I played a key role as sole design contributor for the re-launch of two major brand sites by establishing their distinct digital brand identities, and I was the architect and designer for a few microsites. I\'m experienced in Agile development methodology and UAT. I studied Computer Science at UT Dallas, where I was introduced to the magical world of user experience design. I spent an amazing summer at Sabre Corporation as a UX Strategy Intern, where I supported development of the Accessibility Standards Guideline that was distributed across their internal design teams and external travel/hospitality industry partners. It’s my life’s mission to continuously grow and evolve. I thrive with constructive feedback and collaborative problem solving. I love to meditate in the kitchen and I am always experimenting with different recipes. Film is my favorite medium of art and storytelling, and I\'d love to nerd out with you about how the letterboxd app changed my life.
