About Rachel Strauss

Rachel Strauss has been with EHIM and in the Pharmacy Benefit Manager world for more than 20 years. She started with EHIM in analytics, where she first developed a passion for the control plan sponsors could truly have over their pharmacy benefits. After 5 years in underwriting, Rachel was a natural fit as a Key Account Manager in Client Services and after a short period of time grew into a Key Account Executive role. Rachel has been named producer of the year multiple times within the last 19 years, including this most recent year, 2020. Today, as Vice President of Strategic Development, Rachel has an in-depth understanding about the group health market, and has navigated through many waters. Rachel holds close relationships with some of the country’s largest Third Party Administrators and most respected Consulting firms and organizations including members of Health Rosetta. For her book of client accounts, Rachel’s key relationships are large national accounts, publicly held entities, local and regional government clients, school districts or other collective bargaining groups. She has extensive background in working with these organizations during union negotiations and in working with the clients to develop pharmacy plan designs that adhere to union contracts to satisfy both budgets and expectations. In addition to her primary sales responsibilities, Rachel also participates with plan design development for her clients during the Implementation Phase as well as presenting EHIM’s detailed reporting and plan analysis during quarterly reviews, annual reviews, or for union negotiations. With a true zest for the world of Pharmacy Benefit Management, Rachel has most recently spent the last few years focused on education, speaking engagements, and helping promote dialogue within the industry.
