As a key member of the development team, I lead efforts to build and strengthen relationships with individuals, corporations, and foundations to support and expand the Holland/Zeeland Promise Program. This includes cultivating major gifts, creating tailored donor presentations, and collaborating with the Communications Officer to develop impactful messaging that demonstrates the program’s success. I also organize events designed to raise awareness and foster lasting partnerships.I work closely with the VP of Development & Donor Services and the Communications Officer to plan and execute strategic campaigns aimed at increasing awareness and support for the Community Foundation of Holland/Zeeland (CFHZ). Currently, I’m spearheading the vision for CFHZ’s 75th Anniversary in 2026, which includes launching a community-wide awareness campaign and securing sponsorships and partnerships for all related events and initiatives.In addition, I am responsible for securing and managing all sponsorships for CFHZ—supporting the organization’s operating fund as well as key events and publications. This includes cultivating new sponsors, maintaining relationships with existing partners, and identifying opportunities to grow annual sponsorship revenue.I also collaborate with the full development team to meet and exceed annual goals, ensuring strong stewardship practices and effective communications that deepen donor engagement and drive long-term support.
