ABOUT RACHEL COOK
After studying to be a teacher, who would have expected a career in the insurance industry? Nonetheless, I began my career with a carrier in 2006. Since that time I have worked for three different carriers, in three different regions, in both underwriting and sales positions. Currently, I represent The Hanover’s personal lines department to agents in east Tennessee. What I learned during my time in underwriting has been invaluable to communicating with agents in a sales role. I have also been able to apply the skills I learned in school to edit, develop, and implement training material for new agents and customer service representatives seeking to expand and develop their skills.
