ABOUT RACHEL AUSTIN
I am a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Resident at HCA/UTHSC College of Pharmacy in Nashville, TN. As a resident with HCA I gain clinical pharmacy skills in acute care at various TriStar hospitals in the Nashville, TN area. I manage longitudinal projects that impact my resident development and assist with projects affecting pharmacy practice division and enterprise wide. My interests include pharmacy operations, medication safety, and behavioral health. I will be starting a PGY2 Psychiatric Pharmacy program at HCA Healthcare in July 2026. It is my goal to expand upon pharmacy practice through working on a collaborative team helping providers and patients manage behavioral health.
