About Rachel Jefferson

I am an accounting profession and received my Certified Public Accounting License in August 2022. I work at Atticus, LLC in Cary, NC as a Senior Accountant, where I get to work on a wide variety of different Accountant areas. I received my Masters degree in Accounting from North Carolina State University in May 2021. I have developed strong organization, leadership, and communication skills while attaining comprehensive knowledge of financial planning and accounting principles. My time at the NC State MAC program helped push me in my accounting career and expand my knowledge of advanced accounting principles, while networking with several fellow students and staff. I graduated from North Carolina State University in May 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. My experience includes maintaining strong organization and leadership skills to guide the Women in Business Club at North Carolina State University as club President from 2018 to 2020. My responsibilities included organizing club events, running meetings, and communicating with club members and guest speakers. I utilized my interpersonal and motivational skills to provide guidance to first year and transfer students as a Poole College of Management Peer Leader from 2018 to 2020.After college, I started my career in public accounting at BDO USA where I had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of public and private companies and obtain a vast amount of knowledge on accounting and auditing principles.
