About Rachel Kelso

With over two years of experience in talent acquisition and operations, I am a Talent Operations Specialist at Renewal by Andersen, where I enhance the recruiting experience for our team and candidates. I track and analyze data from various sources to measure job posting success, optimize platform usage, and identify areas for improvement. I also support our team by providing real-time analytics and insights for our talent acquisition department.I am passionate about diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and have centered this work as a focal point throughout my career. In my previous roles, I have facilitated the execution of unique and customized wishes for children with critical illnesses, managed communications and expectations with hiring managers and candidates, and advocated for further training and education in DEI. I believe that DEI is not only a moral imperative, but also a strategic advantage for any organization.In 2024, I earned my PHR certification through HRCI. With this certification, I aim to continue to increase my knowledge in HR laws and regulations, improve my understanding of the talent acquisition and management process, and progress forward in my HR career.

   Most recently, I have been promoted to a Team Lead role overseeing the Talent Operations Team. In this role, I manage a team focused on onboarding, data analytics, workforce management, job marketing, and recruitment strategy. We aim to drive efficiency on the Talent Acquisition team and support them in hiring the best talent available. I approach leadership with a people-first mindset, meeting each team member where they’re at and ensuring their unique skillsets are highlighted in the projects they’re assigned. I believe that every voice matters, and that each team member offers valuable perspectives. Team members who are respected, supported, and celebrated are the most motivated to do their best work.
