   Project Management & Strategy- Managed cross-functional teams to create and implement afforestation carbon offset projects on time and within budget, aligning with Chestnut Carbon’s mission to scale nature-based climate solutions- Developed and executed project plans for afforestation projects across the Southeast United States (7 states and counting!)- Managed project lifecycles from project design through verification and impending credit issuance under the Gold Standard registry platform. Stakeholder & Partner Engagement- Authored and collaborated on a comprehensive community engagement plan; ensures ongoing compliance and implementation with the plan- Collaborated with landowners, NGOs, and technical partners to ensure project compliance, transparency, and long-term sustainability- Built and maintained strong relationships with third-party verifiers, registries, and internal stakeholders to streamline project certification. Operational Excellence & Impact- Implemented project tracking systems and KPIs to monitor project performance.
