About Rachel Romano

In May of 2025, I graduated magna cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cognitive & Behavioral Sciences and American Politics and a minor in Poverty and Human Capability Studies. This July, I will be moving to Nashville to earn an M.Ed. in Child Studies from Vanderbilt University’s Peabody College. I am interested in early intervention and child and family services in the prevention of child abuse and neglect. I am eager to research child development more in-depth and learn more about these topics as I draw connections to their importance in family law and child advocacy. Following my time at Vanderbilt, I would like to work with organizations that focus on the prevention of child abuse and the protection of children in the foster care and child welfare systems as I apply to law school to pursue a career in family law.
