Rachel’s financial career began many years ago at her family\'s dinner table. As the daughter of an estate-planning attorney and psychiatrist, she grew up engaged in dinner conversation in New Rochelle, New York around what planning looked life in real life and the suffering caused by mental illness. While some children tuned out, Rachel leaned in. Rachel’s combination of passion and intellect was joined by another unique pairing: art and athletics. As a competitive tennis and squash player, and creative artist, she attended Cornell University and later Christie’s Masters program for the Arts. As an artist, Rachel worked to create non-toxic printmaking solutions and later as a non-profit leader, facilitating funding for career artists.The road from art world to financial professional was a personal journey for Rachel. In 2006, she experienced the power of sound financial planning, when she lost her beloved mother to cancer and also said good-bye to her maternal grandmother. Her parents\' solid planning resulted in financial stability and spending her last years with loved ones, but her grandmother’s sudden passing told another story: loss of much wealth due to a refusal to plan. These losses ignited Rachel’s passion to coach clients toward financial stability, with a philosophy rooted in the belief that preparation is one of few aspects we can control about the future.As an 12 year veteran of the financial services industry, Rachel exercises her background and to listen thoughtfully to clients and expertly enhance their financial balance. At West Pac Wealth Partners, she helps clients organize their finances, build wealth, and plan for better futures. Away from work, Rachel’s back at the proverbial dinner table, bringing together robust dinner parties, playing tennis, taking hikes and trips to the Oregon Coast.
