About Rachel Chen
I am Rachel, a junior studying Mechanical Engineering at Binghamton University! As a previous Mechanical/Product Engineering Intern at The Raymond Corporation, I have experience working towards the continuous improvement of forklift truck designs. At BU, I am involved in various engineering organizations, including Alpha Omega Epsilon Professional Engineering Sorority and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), allowing me to problem-solve in collaborative teams. Through these experiences, I have acquired various technical skills including CAD (SolidWorks, Creo, Autodesk Fusion 360), creating technical drawings, and programming (MATLAB, Python). Overall, I am a self-driven, curious, and hardworking individual. Driven by my passions for problem-solving, critical thinking, and innovation, I am eager to continue growing as an engineer and gaining hands-on, industry experience.
