   Musical yoga for children and Re Mi is musical yoga for children. Our unique program gets kids moving, stretching, singing and playing along. Children learn yoga poses, breathing techniques and mindfulness tools while having fun. Yo Re Mi also brings curriculum-based music and yoga education to NYC schools. Through our unique combination of music and yoga, children learn with their bodies, minds, and voices all at once. We incorporate live music, movement and mindfulness while supporting curriculum goals. In addition to combining two enrichment classes into one, we celebrate the uniqueness of a child’s mind, honoring their creativity and imagination in a non-competitive environment.YOGA fosters concentration, focus, strength, flexibility, balance, health, social emotional learning, fine and gross motor skills, and breath and body awareness.MUSIC fosters speech development, listening skills, patterning and sequencing, social skills, emotional development, memory, and physical coordination.COMBINING MUSIC WITH YOGA triggers sensory integration and complex cognitive development, aiding retention as children learn through experiences that include physical, auditory, and emotional inputs.
