ABOUT RACHEL WYATT SWANSON

Rachel D. Wyatt - Swanson is an accomplished Director of Business Development, Capture, and Proposals. She has a proven track record of driving marketing and teaming strategies, leading to significant growth for her employers, with over $5B in sales delivered. Rachel is currently the Director of Capture and Proposals at Siemens Government Technologies, where she leads Federal Market proposals and captures. Her role involves managing an adaptive proposal and production organization, coordinating with various business areas, and leading the proposal team through all phases of the Federal Acquisition lifecycle.Previously, Rachel served as the Department of Defense Account and Capture Manager at Northrop Grumman, managing a portfolio of over $2.3B. She also held the position of Director of Federal Business Development for Convergint Technologies and Convergint Federal, focusing on new Federal sales opportunities in the South-Central USA. Her experience extends to Cherokee Federal, where she managed business development for four LLCs and achieved high win rates across several fiscal years.Rachel’s educational background includes a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas at Austin. She has also authored fiction books and publications on public policy.
