ABOUT RACHEL WONG
I am a penultimate-year Integrated Master\'s student in Molecular Bioengineering at Imperial College London driven by curiosity to bridge science and strategy in healthcare. My journey spans the worlds of life science consulting and biotech innovation, giving me a unique interdisciplinary perspective on tackling health challenges. My experiences range from conducting healthcare market analysis at AstraZeneca to gaining customer-centric insight in a luxury retail role at Gucci. I’ve applied my bioengineering knowledge in projects from synthetic biology research to designing a remote patient monitoring solution. These valuable experiences honed my skills in data analysis, healthcare innovation, and problem-solving. Through leadership roles in Imperial’s FemTech and Synthetic Biology societies, I learned to engage diverse stakeholders and lead teams to turn ideas into impactful initiatives.Whether I’m consulting on a go-to-market strategy or prototyping a biotech solution, I thrive on solving problems from multiple angles. I’m excited to collaborate with others who share a vision for improving healthcare. I aim to leverage my skills in market research, data analysis, healthcare innovation, and stakeholder engagement to make a meaningful impact in both consulting and biotech ventures.
