I oversee comprehensive, end-to-end payroll operations for 100–150 union and non-union employees. My role integrates payroll administration, benefits funding, compliance, and accounting alignment to ensure accuracy, transparency, and full regulatory adherence across all levels of the organization.Core Responsibilities & Achievements: • Administer full-cycle, in-house payroll, including manual processing and payment of hourly and salaried employees. • Oversee and reconcile all garnishments, per diem accounts, and retirement contributions, ensuring timely payments and compliance with all federal and state regulations. • Manage union reporting and remittance for 11 local union locals, including working dues, and membership dues. • Manage and maintain certified payroll, prevailing wage compliance. • Prepare and file weekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll tax reports, coordinating payments and compliance documentation. • Maintain and audit employee timecards, manage timekeeping software, and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate payroll outcomes. • Collaborate cross-departmentally with HR and Accounting to align payroll data, onboarding processes, employee information management and general ledger reconciliations. • Serve as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries, providing clear guidance and support. • Supported the transition from ADP to an internal payroll system, developing new workflows and maintaining accuracy through process transformation. • Recognized for strong organizational leadership, adaptability, and deep understanding of payroll compliance and union labor requirements.Systems & Tools: ADP, Vista Viewpoint, Excel, HRIS/Timekeeping systems, Atrix, Outlook, Principle, LCPTtracker, Dash Payment Solutions
