I started working in the HRIS field in As I refined my technical skills, I earned an MBA with a concentration in the Management of Information Systems in 2006, then my Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) certification in 2010. During my career, I have worked with a variety of HRIS systems including PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, Workday, and UltiPro. Although my primary focus has been core HRIS systems, I have also worked with applicant tracking systems including Taleo, Kenexa-BrassRing, PeopleAdmin, and WetFeet Recruiter.Because of my extensive data analysis skills and expertise with reporting tools, I have been involved in numerous system conversions and upgrades. I particularly enjoy implementation projects to either execute a complete system conversion or to deploy new functionality to accomplish the optimization of an existing system.Throughout my career, I have been consistently recognized for streamlining processes and implementing more efficient, cost-effective approaches to workflow allocation and issue resolution. When a core HRIS system did not meet the organization’s business needs, I was able to close the gaps by developing supplemental solutions and reporting tools using my advanced proficiency in Excel with VBA, Access databases, and FileMaker Pro techniques.
