ABOUT RACHEL SMITH
Currently working as a manufacturing Engineer for Federal Mogul in Coventry.Previously a Manufacturing Engineer for Mecalac Construction Equipment uk Ltd. As a production engineer for B-Hepworth where my day to day job was extremely varied in order to keep the factories running. During my time at MGTS I worked as a Technical Training and Development Advisor for Midland Group Training Services (MGTS), a training centre for Engineering Apprentices. One of my mail roles is to train and assess new Engineering Apprentices in the following disciplines, bench fitting, turning and CAD (SolidWorks).Prior to working for MGTS I worked for Kigass Aero Components which involved setting and operating 3, 4 and 5 axis CNC Milling and Turning machines. During my time at Kigass I produced a number of high performance components ranging from Aerospace to Motorsport which included Formula 1. I am truly passionate about Engineering and my work and I am eager to connect with new people.
