I have a passion for business management and building connections, and I enjoy working to develop a great customer experience from start to finish. In my career thus far, I have seen success in team building, managing for sales results, inventory management, showroom design, and organizing and managing the day-to-day operations of a retail buying office. I am a focused and organized professional, am comfortable managing deadlines, and acting as a liaison to both multiple internal departments, as well as dozens of outside vendor partners. While I currently work as a Senior Assistant Buyer in the Home Decor business division at HSN, I am also passionate about retail as an industry, visual merchandising, and styling. I pride myself on a well-rounded approach to business, taking into account my diverse retail background and business knowledge, and always keeping a global retail perspective. I possess a keen eye for design and utilize it in creating beautiful environments as well as use this attention to detail in creating effective processes. Beginning with my work in furniture sales, I have developed my ability to build lasting relationships and pride myself on my interpersonal communication. In my management career, I was passionate about putting my \"people first\" and creating an open and honest communication structure, which has allowed for exceptional skill development within my teams. I see my current role as another piece of my global retail perspective, and am excited to continue to expand my business acumen.
