WORK HISTORY
Vice President, Clinical Care and Education @Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy
As PPMD\'s Vice President of Clinical Care and Education, I champion clinician and patient/family education, clinical care, and engagement with the expansion of the Certified Duchenne Center Center program by 60% to include the care of more than 5,500 patients living with dystrophinopathy, growth of the Duchenne Healthcare Professionals Summit to educate and engage with more than 350 physicians, researchers, and allied health professionals annually, and created the PPMD For You program, which connects directly with families to offer individualized support across the care continuum, serving more than 200 families annually. Additionally, I lead the PPMD Care Consensus meeting series, which aims to identify and solve for gaps in clinical care for dystrophinopathy, and guides the development and dissemination of patient and healthcare professional educational materials via in-person and virtual learning opportunities, print and web-based resources, and community engagement conferences and workshops.
