Dallas is recognized as one of the top convention destinations in the nation and the number one visitor destination in the state of Texas.As a Client Services Manager. I work with internal and external clients while serving as a liaison between the meeting professional, partners and Dallas hospitality community to secure the necessary contracted services to facilitate an effective meeting, convention or tradeshow-Manage “Account Manager” files and information to issue accurate, efficient and timely account client records- Develop effective relationships with stakeholders to maximize performance resulting in client satisfaction- Manage in-house, Express, Self-Contained groups of along with city-wide groups that meet at the KBHCCD- Organization and initiation of site visits- Continue regular phone, mail and e-mail correspondence with clients before and during their convention to keep updated on any changes in contracted services-Attend pre/post convention meetings and visitation on-site, even on weekends as needed for smaller city-wide groups- Serve as a member of the Client Services Division, playing an active role in the annual marketing plan by contributing marketing ideas, assist in the implementation of departmental hospitality programs and other services- Professionally represent VisitDallas at industry and association meetings.
