About Rachel Sandoval

Over the last 10 years, I have specialized in the Wellbeing and Healthcare space because I believe the best application of technology is in improving the quality of life for everyone. I am patient and relentless in pursuing every possible design detail to deliver on that promise and ship product, regardless if its hardware or software. I have had the privilege to work across a wide range of products; those that encourage healthy habits and those that save lives. This flexible mindset has made me adept at working with global and cross-disciplinary teams whether that\'s through remote workshops or deep vendor coordination. I excel on projects with tremendous amounts of research, complexity and collaboration because I respect the expertise of my teammates and I am humble enough to consider no design task too small. I truly believe that the best designs are universal, intuitive and transcend us all. Personally, I have experienced and worked through companies in deep transition, so my ‘superpower’ is being very adaptable. Although, I have worked internationally, across language barriers and through a wide range of design projects, I have currently re-settled in the USA. I am based in Pittsburgh, PA, where I enjoy running in the winter, climbing mountains and recently completed my first full marathon.
