International CEO with 25 years’ experience in Renewable Energy. Led businesses and teams across the renewable energy sector, in various countries, technologies (wind, solar, storage, green hydrogen and biomass) and across the value chain of development, construction and operations.As CEO of EMEA at RES, I sat on the Group Executive board and led RES’s EMEA business: setting and delivering the business plans and strategic objectives. I have 25 years of experience in the renewable energy industry, founded upon a strong technical, engineering and commercial background. In addition to RES, I was a member of The Renewables Infrastructure Group’s (TRIG’s) Advisory Committee since its inception in 2013. I have also been a director of industry trade bodies: Wind Europe, Energy UK and Renewable UK. I have led and developed support functions in Finance, HR, Communications and HSQE. I am experienced in engaging with senior industry stakeholders on policy, regulation as well as in dealing with the media. Commercial experience includes project financing and sales, JVs and company acquisitions.
