My role is to own end-to-end capacity management for all non-Commercial realms (Private Cloud, Government, and Sovereign) specifically as it relates to utilization, rack expansions, sales and operational planning, and critical customer support. Other teams I have contributed to within OCI are the Block and File Storage Organizations.Manage weekly rack and server purchases globally, monthly global block storage forecast, and established process improvements to support the program roadmap for overall OCI Central Capacity Planning.Develop and manage the re-order point model for new rack purchases, and owned the forecasting methodology for sales and operational plan (S & OP) for disc usage over the next eighteen months.Volunteer as a Bar Raiser / Bartender on interview loops since 2019, conducting over 250 loops for Oracle (OCI, Oracle, Cerner, and subsidiaries). Member of the Bartender Steering Committee since April 2023.Maintain dashboards to ensure roadmaps were clear and leadership was informed, and supported capacity planning needs for an Enterprise Cloud such as provisioning capacity, customer support for capacity planning and forecasting, establishing new tenancies, end-of-life processes for obsolete hardware, and account retirement.Drive the reduction of customer out of capacity incidents by managing the installed/sellable capacity for the Block Storage team and own day to day business operations.Run weekly agile sprint planning - task assignment, prioritization, backlog management, which determined the timeline and updates to the delivery estimates for tasks supporting critical projects in Block and File Storage.Execute critical projects as a Technical Program Manager, including Block Storage Cross Region Volume Group Replication, File Storage Clone Detach, File Storage Replication and managing capacity for the overall Block Storage Service in OCI.
