ABOUT RACHEL PLATIN
As an associate attorney at ECL, I take great pride in providing excellent client service. My practice currently consists of protecting the rights of school districts, municipalities and small businesses. I advise clients in navigating labor and employment issues when they first arise and defend against employment practice and labor law violation allegations if suit is brought. In addition to L&E services, I also defend clients facing tort claims and federal/state law violation allegations. I earned my J.D. from the Gonzaga University School of Law with a Certificate in Civil and Human Rights after completing a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science at the University of Washington. I enjoy serving my community by engaging in public interest and pro bono work and by sitting on a local non-profit board. I am licensed to practice in- Washington State - Idaho State - U.S. District Court of Western Washington - U.S. District Court of Eastern Washington - Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals
