About Rachel Peniston
Throughout my career in government, the private sector, and nonprofit organizations, I am passionate about using my skills to support organizations that create positive change. I began my career at the United States Agency for International Development, where I supported the Global Health Front Office, which oversees USAID’s $7 billion annual health portfolio. I also planned the 2012 “Child Survival Call to Action” conference, co-hosted by UNICEF and the governments of India and Ethiopia. I speak intermediate French, Mandarin, and Nepali. I have an MA in Chinese Studies and subject matter expertise of foreign policy in Asia, and grew up in Kathmandu, Nepal.
