I am currently a fourth-year student in the School of Nursing at the University of Virginia, looking for employment as an RN in an ICU. I have extensive experience as a nurse extern on both the PICU and Hem/Onc units at Children’s National Hospital in D.C. These were invaluable in building my knowledge base for various diagnoses, medications, and procedures. My experience in the PICU has left me in awe of the proficiency and intelligence exhibited by the nurses within the unit. I am eager to embrace the challenges and responsibilities of an ICU role with the commitment to deliver compassionate care and the best outcomes for patients and their families.
