As a Program Leader for the W.E.S.O.A.R!(Weekend, Evening, Social Opportunities, Activities and Recreation) program, I am responsible for the delivery of safe and inclusive social, recreation, and development opportunities for young adults living with disabilities. With the support of Volunteers, I provide exceptional care and supervision of program participants to ensure an outstanding experience and satisfaction in their activities.

ABOUT RACHEL OSKIN
I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from the University of Calgary, majoring in Biomedical Sciences. I am passionate about leadership, advocacy, and improving health outcomes for children with neurodevelopmental conditions.My experience spans basic and clinical neuroscience research, digital communication and marketing, as well as patient-facing roles where I’ve had the opportunity to engage directly with individuals and families in healthcare settings. These experiences have strengthened both my scientific foundation and my ability to connect with diverse communities in meaningful, compassionate ways.I am eager to pursue a career in pediatric neurology, where I can blend my passion for child health with my communication skills to advance awareness, education, and patient care.
