The Role * My current role centres on supporting an organisation with multi-million-pound turnover by managing the day-to-day operations of the Central Finance team reporting, comprising Accounts Payable for two divisions; Electrical Services; and Access & Safety.* The Results * • Created and embedded an organisational model for calculating rebates, accruals, and prepayments.• Played a key role in enabling the acquisition onboarding of Indepth Services for period-end reporting and banking.• Embedded best practice in the management of future acquisitions by drafting a Group Acquisition Finance Integration Playbook • Led an analytical review of the Group’s aged and accrued income. • Improved organisational efficiency by steering implementation of the Eque2 system.• Ensured business continuity by serving as interim Finance Director, including informing business performance reviews by submitting consolidated year-end results and accounts for four divisions and twenty-five legal entities
