Woman International Master (WIM) is the second highest female chess title that is awarded by the International Chess Federation (FIDE). I attained the title through becoming the Central American and Caribbean Under 20 Female Chess Champion (2019). • Became Jamaica\'s second ever WIM and the youngest in the country. • Concentrated for at least 4 hours in each chess game. Usually played in tournaments that had 8 hours of games each day. • Made assessments of chess positions through making observations, using intuition, and implementing methodical thinking. • Visualized the movements of chess pieces to see all relevant future outcomes. • Synthesized the best course of action based on analysis.

Hi there! I am a chess instructor that loves to help people learn more about the game while helping them build confidence in their play. I value learning from others, connecting with my students, and gaining new skills as a teacher. When I am not teaching, I play in international chess tournaments, where my love for the sport and the efforts of several people have allowed me to become a five time chess Olympian and the youngest ever National Woman Chess Champion of Jamaica. My favourite books are “How Life Imitates Chess\" by Gary Kasparov,\"Mastery\" by Robert Greene, and \"Mindset\" by Carol Dweck.
