ABOUT RACHEL MARSH
I am the Director of the Cognitive Development and Neuroimaging Laboratory in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Columbia University and the New York State Psychiatric Institute. Our research involves the application of multimodal magnetic resonance imaging along with neuropsychological measures to the investigation of brain-behavior relationships in normal development and in the development of psychiatric disorders that arise during childhood and adolescence, such as Tourette Syndrome, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Eating Disorders. We use functional MRI to study self-regulatory control processes, learning and memory across development in health and illness. I also direct MRI Research at the New York State Psychiatric Institute.
