A dynamic, inclusive leader, committed to making impactful, critical decisions in real time while fostering an environment where I can inspire my colleagues and create opportunities for their growth and empowerment.Throughout my career, I’ve embraced opportunities to lead diverse teams in fast-paced settings, including in challenging remote work environments such as Canada’s arctic. Whether I am leading a small team of 10, or a 24/7 critical operations team of +350, I prioritize listening to understand broad perspectives, enabling me to support contributions from across my team, advancing collective work towards the organization’s purpose.One of my greatest privileges as a public service leader has been to work alongside Indigenous peoples in Canada, for whom I have a profound affection and respect. Building and maintaining those relationships, with Nunavummiut most recently, has shaped me for the better.These relationships have reinforced my values as a leader, including remaining open to reassessing and adjusting strategies in anticipation of, or as situations evolve. This flexibility has allowed me to lead with clarity and confidence, even in uncertain scenarios. I believe in promoting a culture where diverse talents, experiences and skills come together to innovate and contribute to a resilient and trusting team environment. I am committed to leading with integrity, making decisions that are not only effective but also aligned with values of equity, respect, and mutual support.With over 18 years of progressive experience in senior leadership roles in the public service of Canada, with credentials in executive education and change management, I continue to bring people-centric leadership to the organizations I am involved with. I am passionate and committed to developing future public service leaders. I have developed and implemented policies and strategies that support the positive advancement and implementation of government programs. I have also successfully managed major transformation and change initiatives in various administrative capacities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
