About Rachel Lovejoy
Rachel is a strategic and innovative thinker with substantial experience in the many legal and business issues faced by technology companies, from small high-tech start-ups to large multi-national corporations. She has worked in, and supervised teams in the US, Latin America and the Middle East. Rachel is also an experienced corporate and advisory board member, venture partner and public speaker. As SpaceX\'s chief IP counsel, Rachel advised on all aspects of SpaceX\'s intellectual property strategy, identifying and mitigating risks across the business, as well as a myriad of other issues, including launch contracts, satellite conjunction screening, other tech transactions, confidentiality, information and physical security, data privacy, antitrust, and pretty much anything else that came up on a given day. Her previous experience includes advising clients on private financing of high-tech start-ups, initial public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
