ABOUT RACHEL LEWIS
I am a freelance filmmaker with 10 years of experience working with research agencies, charities and non-profits including Ipsos Ethnography Centre of Excellence, Age UK Manchester and Carbon Co-op. My work focuses on using film to inform positive change and development, whether that\'s through campaign videos, short documentaries, participatory filmmaking processes or applying observational and ethnographic methods to production. You can view my portfolio here: I am a Fellow of the Year Here Social Innovation programme where I trained in service design, community engagement and co-production through frontline placements with Age UK Islington and Hillingdon NHS Clinical Commissioning Group. My experience on the programme led me to set up the co-operative, Plastic Shed, to reduce community division by bringing people together to tackle the shared issue of plastic waste. Since founding Plastic Shed I now remain on the board to provide support, advice and direction.
