About Rachel Lebensburger

As a Cognitive Science major with a minor in Consumer Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania, I am passionate about applying insights from behavioral economics and cognitive psychology to improve consumer experiences and decision-making. With a strong foundation in data analysis, research, and behavioral studies, I am driven to develop into an expert in neuroeconomics, leveraging scientific research and technology to better understand and shape consumer behavior. Currently, I work as an intern at CITY Furniture, where I analyze data from their CITY Moves program to help develop strategies aimed at re-engaging existing customers and attracting new ones. This hands-on experience complements my research assistant role at the Wharton School, where I collaborate on projects exploring the intersection of psychology, decision-making, and business strategy. In addition to my academic and research pursuits, I gained valuable practical experience as a sales associate at Levi’s, where I learned firsthand the importance of personalized customer experiences and the connection between in-person sales and corporate strategy. I am constantly seeking to deepen my knowledge in the fields of neuroeconomics and behavioral science, with a focus on how these disciplines can be applied to solve real-world business problems. Whether through research or practical application, I am committed to leveraging data and psychology to drive innovation and create meaningful impact.
