ABOUT RACHEL P.
I am a May 2025 graduate of Stetson University College of Law, currently preparing for the Tennessee Bar Exam in July 2026. I earned my bachelor\'s degree in Music Business with a minor in Public Relations from Middle Tennessee State University, and studied International Entertainment and Music Business Transactions at the University of Belize in Belmopan. With over four years of experience as a Law Clerk, I\'ve focused on intellectual property matters across trademark, copyright, and patent — including litigation support for infringement cases, administrative portfolio management and policing, advising clients on the protectability of their ideas and creative works, and rights of publicity. Before law school, I built a career in the entertainment industry, where I developed a deep passion for intellectual property law through firsthand experience navigating the legal complexities that artists and creators face. As a producer of large music events, I learned to lead and follow situationally — negotiating artist contracts, managing logistics, and stepping into whatever role the team needed. Those years taught me active listening, adaptability, and a grounded, team-first approach that translates directly into effective legal work.I am drawn to firms and organizations that value collaboration, creativity, and genuine commitment to their clients. My background gives me a unique perspective — I understand what clients are going through, and I am motivated to advocate for them effectively. Beyond intellectual property, I have a strong passion for one day serving as a civilian attorney for a military branch — an area I am eager to explore and grow in. Overall, my goal is to build a long-term career where purposeful work, strong client advocacy, and service are at the center of everything I do.
