ABOUT RACHEL LAYTON M.

I’m an instructional designer with experience in developing and delivering interactive and learner-based training for vILT and eLearning. With an eye for design and a background in developing lessons and curriculum, I create engaging material aimed at the learner\'s needs with a goal in mind. Here are some of the questions that I ask my SMEs before I design the learning experience: what gaps are there in knowledge or performance, what is the desired learning outcome, what is the best way to increase performance through learning and training? I collaborate with SMEs to ensure content accuracy and real-world application, and I develop and execute learning storyboards based on the objectives. My background in education brings expertise in professional development, eLearning, vILT, blended learning, and adult learning to the table. I found that I have a love for instructional design because it combines, creativity and education, which are two of my passions. I get to use the latest technology to build engaging and memorable learning experiences.
