ABOUT RACHEL OSBORNE
I\'ve spent 10+ years working in the television industry, where I\'ve developed an indelible work ethic, a chameleon-like personality to adapt to all personalities, and nerves of steel to thrive in the most high-pressured environments. I\'ve had the rare and valuable experience of working on the buying (Nickelodeon) and selling (High Noon Entertainment) side of the business. My unique background has given me the advantage of being a flexible and strategic partner to communicate and champion teams to achieve common goals. Regardless of title, I pride myself in leading by example, always giving 110%, and finding ways to improve effectiveness and efficiencies by often innovating projects, processes, and procedures. As a Casting & Talent Director, I\'ve relished leading the casting team while leaning into my competitive nature. Unified by the goal to find the top talent in the country before thousands of other competing production companies, I\'ve created strategies, set team goals, and developed a keen eye for finding and pitching unique talent. What drives me is the thrill of the hunt– I could talk to 100 people daily for ten weeks, hoping to find that one exceptional talent that breaks through the cultural zeitgeist and becomes a network hit. As a Production Manager, I\'m most recently energized by juggling multiple large-scale development projects and handling all the nuanced details from inception to delivery. 3 Career Highlights I\'m most proud of: CASTING & TALENT DEVELOPMENT: Secured two Olympic athletes for a development project with Nickelodeon, including negotiating an appearance fee on a limited budget and managing a shooting schedule around previously scheduled Olympic engagements. PROJECT & OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT: Managed end-to-end production operations on Development projects for major television networks such as HGTV, History Channel, and Netflix. STRATEGIC OPERATIONS LEADERSHIP: Established the first-ever talent relations department to increase talent signings; worked with the executive team to create a strategy that mapped out timelines, expectations, and budgets to ensure a successful first season. In my free time, I love to go on long runs with my silver lab, Kona. I’m also a sports fanatic so I will go to ANY game I can get tickets to! I always welcome business networking, so please don\'t hesitate to contact me at r••••••••@gmail.com.
