Supporting publishers Karen Rinaldi and Hollis Heimbouch, help to manage front and backlist titles for both Harper and Harper Business from contracts through production to publication, as well as continuing to acquire nonfiction projects based on each list’s needs and my own personal tastes. Besides regular assistant duties, daily tasks include:• End-to-end project management for over thirty frontlist titles across imprints as well as regular backlist support• Reading and evaluating book proposals for myself, managers, immediate team members, and others in the Harper division• Expanding personal network of contacts across the industry, including agents, editors, scouts, librarians, major media figures, booksellers, and moreAcquisitions at HarperCollins include More, Please by Emma Specter, Better by Arianna Rebolini, Qualified by Shari Dunn, and Good Judgment by Richard Davis.
