I started my career in the title industry in early 2012, after receiving my Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. Before that, I was in customer service. I believe that as a Title Processor, you are responsible for understand the ins and outs of the issuance of a title policy, from opening the file, reading the title search, preparing the commitment, title clearance, document preparation, balancing figures, facilitating closing, disbursing, post-closing, and writing the policy. It is important to understand and evaluate risks associated with each transaction. I also believe that a core part of this job is customer service. Title is the axis in which the entire transaction revolves. My clients are not just the buyers and sellers, but the agents and lenders as well. I strive to provide excellent service and honest communication to all parties involved. I love teaching others new things, and problem-solving better ways to make processes and procedures more efficient so that the most efficient time is spent on each file or process.I am a Notary Public and Licensed Title Agent in Tennessee. I have processing experience in SoftPro, Qualia, and Landtech, document creation experience in Landtech and Qualia, and admin experience in Qualia and Softpro.In my spare time I love creating art and taking care of my many plants. Both provide me with relaxation and decompression. My coworkers lovingly refer to me as the Crazy Plant Lady. My family is also incredibly important to me, so I strive to complete my work in an efficient and timely manner, so I can spend as much time with them as possible. My home is quite the zoo. We have 1 dog, 6 guinea pigs, 2 betta fish, and a Kenyan sand boa. Needless to say, the spare time I mentioned earlier is sparse.
